Features
Rule Engine Improvements
Since release 2.30, we have had support in the API for triggering rules on tcxn convention resources. In this release, we have added support for this in the App Board, meaning you can now select any tcxn convention resource in rule edit. An example of this is triggering a rule when battery or signal strength is low.
Device Management Improvements
For App Board, in the Device Management section, we have added support for downloading the job document for a job. This simplifies management and control of jobs and increases visibility of what the job actually does.
Advanced Permissions (BETA)
Work is ongoing to complete a first official version of our new Advanced Permissions functionality. Work is progressing as per plans, targeting a first release within the next few releases. Please note that there will be a few changes to the APIs released under BETA status, meaning that you will need to revise your code if you have started to experiment with the new Advanced Permissions APIs.
Minor improvements and corrections
Minor enhancements and bug fixes are delivered by the new release, including:
- Improved user experience for the user consent dialogues in App Board (both during user sign up and when editing a user).
- Fixed an issue where deleted dashboards still appeared in the App Board dashboard list under certain circumstances.
- Fixed an issue with changing the resource in a rule and then saving the rule without updating the trigger value.
- Fixed a graphical issue in rule edit where the expand/collapse arrow became misplaced under certain conditions.
